The Pet Health & Longevity Company
Making longevity manufacturable. Starting with the bowl.
We want to give back even more. Not just time, but health too.
Pets might live longer, but they don't live healthier
We know which compounds extend healthy life. We cannot deliver them. As purified extracts they cost like medicine, absorb poorly, and cannot be fed twice a day.
We grow them inside living tissue, at the cost of ordinary feed. Pet food first: the fastest route from ground to shelf.
Kealy et al., J Am Vet Med Assoc 220:1315, 2002.
Medicine added the years. Nobody added the health.
Segment proportions illustrative. Only the +1.8 yr figure is measured.
Function or price. And the gap between them widens every year.
What one 400 g can costs today
Fresh meat plus purchased additives. 30% inclusion, at scale.
Only one of these numbers moves. US cattle herd: smallest since 1951, no rebuild before 2028. EU beef at record levels. Feed grain down 14%. We buy on the falling curve.
Buy the pieces separately and you pay specialty prices for each one, stripped of the structure that made it absorbable.
Ames, PNAS 115:10836, 2018. Beelman et al., J Nutr Sci 9:e52, 2020. Positions illustrative, prices published.
Insulin is grown in bacteria. Nobody calls it bacterial insulin.
They said you couldn't grow mushroom compounds inside animal tissue at feed prices.
01 · The source
Spent mushroom substrate
Ergothioneine, ergosterol, the fungal fraction. A mushroom-farming waste stream, plus one proprietary ingredient.
02 · The converter
Alphitobius diaperinus
Turns fungal compounds into animal tissue. Five-week cycle, no light, built for automation.
03 · The control
Seven years of process
AI-controlled climate and density, multispectral vision. In no patent, and not for sale.
The output
A wet functional matrix
Never dried. Straight into a wet recipe, compounds carried in tissue a carnivore will actually eat.
The process is a dial, not a fixed output.
We design the profile before we grow it. Protein availability, the structural fraction and the fibre to ash and protein to fat balance are all set during cultivation.
Balanced profile for everyday wet food. Predictable structure, favourable fermentation, SCFA about 11.8× BCFA.
High-digestibility profile for high inclusion and gut health products. Protein digestibility to approximately 80% in vitro.
New SKUs come from the same biology, the same plant and the same database.
Every part of this is different
That industry
Us
Sold the insect as protein, competing on price with soy
We sell function that has no substitute
Fed cheap waste to make cheap protein
We feed mushroom substrate to make compounds nobody else has
Built factories before demand existed
Product on the shelf before the plant was finished
Dried, defatted meal for extrusion
Natively wet, for wet food
For them, the insect was the product. For us, it is the process.
One ingredient. One analysis. Nothing added, nothing extracted.
EUR 0.30
We do the same can for this.
Around 20% less, from one ingredient instead of six.
Ergothioneine
the "longevity vitamin"
We grow it in.
Longevity research's headline compound. Food is the only source, and the body has a dedicated system to store it where cells are under stress. Levels fall with age. Low levels track frailty and decline. Meat carries none.

Air-dried formats
Derived from the same wet base
IPC, IPI, IPH concentrates, isolates and hydrolysates extend margin without a second biological platform. Project decision follows the expert panel in September 2026.
NEXITOSAN: pharmaceutical-grade chitosan
The same cultivation protocol raises the chitin fraction about 2.15× above the base profile. From it we produce chitosan at biomaterial grade.
Target applications: drug delivery, controlled release, mucoadhesive systems, wound dressings, haemostatics.
Functionality report in wound dressings due end of Q3 2026.
40+ potential applications assessed, across animal and human use. Pet food first: lowest regulatory barrier, fastest route to shelf.
In-vivo validation with UR Kraków is the gate. If it confirms what the biology predicts, the same platform points at markets orders of magnitude larger.
Pet food is the beachhead. Healthspan is the business.
VELI is how we prove them, not how we grow.
01 · EntoPro ingredient
Sold to pet food manufacturers at EUR 2.50/kg.
Feed material 009841-EN. Authorised in the EU and Canada.
Amino acids, lipids, B vitamins, choline, zinc and iron are naturally present, so a finished recipe needs less synthetic supplementation. That lowers total formulation cost, not just the protein line.
Core revenue stream
02 · Finished recipes and private label
Complete, market-tested formulations under a partner's brand.
The customer skips formulation, palatability testing and consumer validation. We have already done all three.
Highest value per tonne
03 · VELI, our own brand
Poland only. Direct to consumer.
Six wet SKUs live, selling, with returning customers.
Our test bed and reference, not our growth engine
Why the recipes matter more than the ingredient.
A brand buying a novel ingredient normally faces two years of formulation, palatability work and consumer risk. We hand them a recipe that already sells. That is why we built VELI: to stand in our customer's shoes before asking them to stand in ours.
First order in negotiation: 100,000 cans for 2027.
Everyone can see the destination. Almost nobody can get there.
Legal
5+ patents covering the core technology
Protects the process, not just the product
Regulatory
EU novel food (2023), Canada listed (2026), US next
Over three years elapsed; a competitor starts at zero
Economic
Waste-stream substrate; natively wet output, no drying step
Cost floor decoupled from commodity markets
Biological
Functional compounds carried in native animal tissue
Nothing comparable exists at feed-level cost
Underneath all four: seven years of R&D and internal know-how. Not patentable, not licensable, not hireable at speed.
Anyone can copy a formula. Nobody copies seven years.
Not a metaphor. A measurable shift in how households spend.
Europe
+270%
growth in UK pet care spending since tracking began in 2005.
64% of Europeans say they treat their pet as a child.
North America
87M
US homes have a pet. More households have pets than children under 18.
Annual spend per dog has doubled in a decade, from about $1,200 to $2,400.
Asia
57%
of stroller sales in South Korea are now pet strollers, not baby strollers.
Up from 33% in 2021. In Japan, cats and dogs outnumber children under 15.
$165B in the US. $132B across Asia Pacific by 2027. Rising in every market we sell into.
When a pet becomes a child, the spending model changes with it.
Not premium food. Prevention, supplements, longevity. A market that buys mechanism, not narrative.
The regulator is legitimising the category, at someone else's expense.
Loyal has cleared two of three FDA sections for a canine lifespan drug: a ten-year-old dog, by prescription, at USD 40-90 a month. The bowl reaches every dog from month three.
Under our brand and under theirs.
What a partner receives
A finished, market-tested recipe.
Regulatory documentation for the EU and Canada. Specification, palatability data and label support.
What they skip
Formulation. Palatability trials. Consumer validation.
Two years of development risk.
How it runs here
VELI: proof, not intention
Selling, with customers returning.

VELI live: 6 SKUs, selling
Three gates cleared. The last one is the whole thesis.
1. In vitro cleared
digestibility confirmed
2. Palatability cleared
accepted, even by cats
3. Scale economics cleared
€0.5/kg at 3,000 t/yr. The gate most ingredient companies never clear
4. In vivo in progress
health & longevity readout with UR Kraków. The last mile
In vitro already confirms the direction. Even a neutral readout leaves a high-value protein at a better price, with approvals, patents and a brand selling. In vivo is upside, not foundation.
